One of my new year resolutions for 2018 was to start blog series about venues I have personally been to and photographed. Getting married in a venue I’m featuring? Have a browse, see yourself how photogenic the place is. See the sample images that can be delivered from a wedding there.
On the map of wedding venues there are places that are beautiful and then there are places such as Dalduff Farm in Maybole. If you ask me for a list of my favourite wedding venues in Scotland – it’s definitely one of the top 3. Not only because of its authenticity and natural, raw beauty, but also the variety of locations and completely different settings that share the same characteristics. Never have I been in a place where after a day of shooting I find myself going through 1500+ images from completely different locations, such as the cottage house, the garden, the barn, the river, the tiny forest close to the venue, that fit together so perfectly to create one cohesive story. The colour themes, the vintage feel, the rusty barn and barrels all around… It’s like a movie set. See for yourself!

At the end of the day the venue is just a background for the couple so to show to you how insanely photogenic the surroundings are, here’s a few photos from the quick session between the ceremony and the speeches!
