Dalduff Farm Wedding – A venue Review

One of my new year resolutions for 2018 was to start blog series about wedding venues. Pre-requisite – I must have personally been to and photographed them. Are you getting married in one of the venues I’m featuring? Why don’t you have a browse.  See yourself how photogenic the place is and see the sample images that can be delivered from a wedding there.

On the map of wedding venues there are places that are beautiful and then there are places such as Dalduff Farm in Maybole. If you ask me for a list of my favourite wedding venues in Scotland – it’s definitely one of the top 3. It’s certainly not only because of its authenticity and natural, raw beauty. The variety of locations and completely different settings that share the same characteristics is simply incredible.

Dalduff Farm is one of the few places where after a day of shooting I find myself going through 1500+ images, that look like they were taken at 10 different locations. The backgrounds vary from the cottage house, the garden, the barn, the river, the tiny forest close to the venue itself. They fit together so perfectly and create one cohesive story. The colour themes, the vintage feel, the rusty barn and barrels all around… Dalduff Farm is basically a movie set for a wedding. See for yourself!

At the end of the day the venue is just a background for the couple. To show to you how insanely photogenic the surroundings are, here’s an example. I’ve put together a few photos from the quick session between the ceremony and the speeches!
